Welcome to the WHSB Art Department website. The Art Team are enthusiastic, hard-working and very creative. We are both practising Artists and allow our practice to inform our teaching. Creativity is at the heart of our teaching. The Art department believe that Art should be accessible for everyone and that it is our duty to help unlock our pupils' Creativity! We hope to engage, inspire and evoke a passion for Art through the study of Art History, Techniques & Processes, application of a variety of media and a wide range of relevant contextual links.

We have high expectations and therefore a history of high results. We hope that you enjoy viewing the work presented here. Our goal is to showcase the work of some of our  pupils, whilst simultaneously giving all pupils the chance to view exemplar material, the standard of which they might then aspire to reach themselves.
