The Formal Elements are the focus of this year. These projects will be an introduction to line, tone, shape, form, colour and composition. You will learn how to shade using a full range of tones, blended smoothly. You will learn how to observe and carefully record with accuracy. You will learn Colour Theory and the rules of Composition. The Year will finalise with an Exam and lots of accurate drawings and painting of sweets.
